Late last year we brought you the news that UWM were once again partaking in B1G1’s annual scheme to help those less fortunate than ourselves enjoy some festive cheer. We asked each member of our team to select a deserving cause from a list of over 600 worthy causes provided by B1G1 which they personally felt strongly about. By doing so, each team member was able to help fulfil a uniquely important role in giving back to the wider world community.
Now, we are proud to announce that through our partnership with B1G1, UWM has successfully touched the lives of more than 100,000 people worldwide. We are honoured to reach this milestone and pledge our commitment to continuing our beneficent work for years to come. Among other contributions, UWM has been responsible for:
- Giving nourishing meals to people in need
- Granting access to improved learning environments to children
- Gifting invaluable learning tools to children who need them the most
- Allowing people in areas of drought and poor sanitation and irrigation access to life-saving water around the world
Donating almost 10,000 bricks towards school buildings to support local education systems
