To continually meet those needs, we’re always on the lookout for hard-working individuals who can help us deliver the best service possible. As such, we have recently hired two new recruits who we feel will do just that.
Read on as we introduce Rebecca and Josh our new Administrator and Trainee Accountant.
Introducing Rebecca Gilpin
Rebecca joined the team as an Administrator in March 2021. Providing maternity cover for Charlotte, she’ll primarily be in charge of onboarding new clients, maintaining client data across our system and filing all client documents online. Her duties also include answering the phone, assisting with client queries and greeting clients in the office once restrictions are lifted!
Before joining UWM, Rebecca worked in a recruitment administration role for 7 years. The first thing she noticed was the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of the business. But above all else, she appreciates the way our management team values its staff, maintaining their wellbeing with a flexible approach to working.
Introducing Josh Ronaldson
We hired Josh as a Trainee Accountant in February 2021. He is currently training to achieve his AAT qualifications. At the moment, Josh’s main duties include the initial preparation of clients’ accounts and VAT returns, as well as resolving customer queries over the phone.
Before joining our team, Josh worked as a salesperson for a boiler company and he also did their accounts. When he joined us, he noted how proactive we are in regards to tax, and how relaxed our workplace is while still ensuring work gets done on time.
