ACCOUNTEX 2014

The excitement of an accountancy exhibition awaits.

What can be new in the world of accountancy?

Very little you would think. What is traditionally a very boring industry has been going through a lot of changes over the last couple of years. Changes which show no signs of slowing down. A quick look at the exhibitor list for Accountex in ExCel, London next week and it shows more Cloud related products and services than ever. Yet more confirmation that more business solutions, both accountancy related and business in general are moving into the Cloud.

Liz, Chris and I are looking forward to our visit to Accountex to see some great speakers and see the solutions these exhibitors have to offer.

Looking back at a few of the innovations that have made improvements for ourselves and our clients in the last couple of years, we’re sure we will be taking away something useful from the event

  • Cloud accounting
  • Bank statement recognition from PDF files
  • Document management system
  • Secure document exchange with electronic signatures
  • Paperless direct debit collection system
  • Cloud based practice management software
  • Hosted server environment

Thinking about your own business, are you always looking for new and efficient ways to do things? Is there a new technology that makes an existing process quicker and more efficient?
